Hawaii NPO “HUGS”

When I participated in the beach cleaning at Ala Moana Park organized by Nippon Club in August, I had an opportunity to talk with Aloha United Way. I found that HUGS (Helps, Understanding & Group Support) needs a volunteer to help them to improve their renovations. It is a nonprofit organization based in Hawaii that serves families with children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness or disease and provides comprehensive, long-term support to Hawaii families, helping them on their journey of
caring for a seriously ill child, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. We met with Melanie Kaaihue-Yoshida from Aloha United Way and Joan Naguma of HUGS to talk about their want and wishes.

We will start with interior paint job but having Joseph Shin from CMK Builders also on our side, we can provide more variety of volunteer works for HUGS.
Any non-profit organizations need voluntary works.
This is something we can do as an interior designer!
